About Rohr Historica
Our company Rohr Historica actually started in 1972 when I was 9 years old. I had three Great Uncles who served in WWII and I loved hearing them talk about it. I was already crazy about The Rat Patrol, Combat, and war movies. My Grandmother gave me photos of my uncles in uniform which I proudly put on my dresser. Then I started asking them if they had anything from the war that I could have. That’s where it started. I purchased my first item that year, a .50 caliber US ammo box for .50 cents!!! After that my allowance went to anything Military I could find at yard sales and surplus stores…and it hasn’t ended.
I still collect after all these years but have decided to sell numerous items I don’t need. I strive to buy – and now sell only original items. I will describe all items as accurately as possible, and offer a lifetime guarantee of originality. I hope to help others learn, expand their collections, and find interesting and unique items.

Uncle Bill Graver
My Uncle Bill Graver – landed in France in the Summer of 1944. He was in the antiaircraft artillery of the US 7th Army. He was in the Battle of the Bulge and the drive into Germany in 1945. Shortly after fighting ceased, he was given the job of what he called “burial detail”, which he said was picking up rotting “Kraut” bodies and burying them. Later in 1945 he was assigned to displaced persons and drove a Deuce and a Half around Europe taking home survivors from Dachau Concentration Camp.
