WWI Book “The 28th Division in France” by Eugene Gilbert 1919. Foxing on the cover but otherwise good. Eugene Gilbert who wrote this book was a member of the 103rd Engineers of the 28th Division. The 103rd fought side by side with the USMC in Belleau Wood, winning many decorations as did the Marines. I’ve encountered these here and there over the years, and I believe they were given out to the troops when they were returning home. Printed in France.
