Mint Unissued Original NVA Reed Green Jungle Sneakers

Mint Unissued Original NVA Jungle Sneakers in Reed Green. These are a rarity in this condition. I purchased these in 2002 from a Dealer in Hong Kong who got them in China. These are the real McCoy and have every correct trait seen in wartime sneakers. The laces were stored inside each boot and have black painted steel caps on the ends. Here is what you want to see in an original pair of sneakers, and these have all of it:

Wartime NVA Jungle Sneakers have the following traits:

1. They have only the size on the sole and numbers. They do not have any logos or Vietnamese writing
2. They never have a center seam line in the rubber toe cap
3. The lug pattern is very different from postwar examples, and they always have squiggly lines on the lugs
4. Wartime sneakers are either khaki or reed green, no other colors
5. Wartime sneakers use cured rubber and remain supple and pliable
6. Wartime do not have grommets on the side to let water out
7. Wartime lace eyelets are aluminum, not steel
