Nice P-53 USMC HBT Fatigue Suit. The last model of the HBT cloth uniforms as worn in WWII and Korea. This nice example is complete with all buttons on both the shirt and the trousers. These are usually damaged or missing. None have been replaced. The shirt is named, and also shows the shadow of a removed “Okinawa Name Tape” which indicates the original owner did in fact go to Vietnam. Both pieces are clean and without damage or stains. Trousers have a 27-28″ waist. Shirt chest is about 38″ and the armpit to cuff measures 18″. This is a hard to find early Vietnam fatigue suit.
