Original Wartime NVA Officer Reed Green Uniform from the Ned Broderick Collection

This set came from the Ned Broderick collection which he sold off in 2000. Ned is an artist as well as a Vietnam USMC veteran. He started collecting captured enemy items during the war while in country, and continued into the 1990’s. Some of his collection was displayed at the National Vietnam Veterans Museum in Chicago. His collection was also featured in the 1998 book “Weapons and Field Gear of the North Vietnamese Army and Vietcong” by Edward J Emering (which is shown for reference and is not included in this sale). This set is in outstanding field used condition. It shows some wear and a few sewn field repairs. It has loops for both collar and shoulder insignia. The washed out white tag in the collar indicates North Vietnamese production. The matching trousers are nearly the exact same shade of reed green, showing little use. The uniform is a small size. This is a very hard to find original wartime set that comes with my lifetime guarantee of originality. I will provide the buyer a signed certificate of authenticity.
